Ford Transit dropside vans for sale
A Ford Transit dropside gives a flat, open deck with drop-down sides for loading from any angle. We build them on the L4 and L5 rear-wheel-drive Transit chassis cab, in single or twin rear wheel, for builders’ merchants, scaffolders, landscapers and general haulage.
Our Transit dropside bodies are constructed at the Cardiff workshop on aluminium under-frames, with 400mm aluminium plank sides in natural finish, mesh flooring and a heavy-duty galvanised headboard with mesh infill. Body lengths follow the wheelbase and are listed against each vehicle below.
Every dropside is supplied ready to drive with finance and contract-hire options. Need a longer body, a ladder gantry or a tail lift? We build to order — call 029 2079 2853.

Common questions.
What body lengths are available on a Transit dropside?
Lengths follow the chassis: the L4 is offered at 4115mm and 4500mm, the L5 at 5200mm. Other lengths can be built to order.
Single or twin rear wheel?
Both. Single rear wheel keeps the deck lower and the van lighter; twin rear wheel carries more. The listings state which each vehicle has.
Can you fit a tail lift to a Transit dropside?
Yes. Column and cantilever tail lifts are fitted in-house and supplied certified.
