Ford Transit curtain side vans for sale
A Ford Transit curtain sider opens the whole side of the load space for forklift and pallet loading, on a chassis with the payload to make use of it. We build lightweight curtain siders on the L4 and L5 rear-wheel-drive Transit in single or twin rear wheel.
Each body is built at our Cardiff workshop with 900gsm 2×2 Panama PVC-coated polyester curtains, high-gloss lacquer finished and tensioned front and rear, an aerodynamic Luton pod, 22mm aluminium plank flooring, aluminium roller shutter, aluminium under-frame and corner pillars in natural finish, and a translucent roof.

What lengths are the Transit curtain siders?
The L4 is offered at 4115mm and 4500mm and the L5 at 5200mm. Other lengths can be built to order.
Why a lightweight curtain sider?
Less body weight means more payload within the 3.5-tonne licence limit — the point of a curtain sider is carrying pallets, so every kilo of body saved goes on the load.
